September 2026 brought a special moment to the Centre International d'Antibes as we celebrated the end of our second PrepaTec Monterrey student group's French immersion programme.
After welcoming our first group from PrepaTec Monterrey in June, we were delighted to receive another group in September. And this time, the farewell was particularly memorable: the Director of International Programs at PrepaTec travelled to Antibes to join the students for their certificate ceremony.
A wonderful occasion to recognise their achievements and celebrate our growing collaboration.
Our collaboration with PrepaTec, part of TecnolĂłgico de Monterrey in Mexico, is built around a shared interest in language learning, cultural exchange and international education.
Through tailor-made programmes, PrepaTec students have the opportunity to experience French language learning in a French-speaking environment while discovering life on the CĂ´te d'Azur.
For these students, studying French in Antibes means more than attending language classes. It is also an opportunity to experience a different culture, meet people from other countries and put their French skills into practice beyond the classroom.
We were delighted to welcome Melva VILLARREAL, the Director of International Programs at PrepaTec, to Centre International d'Antibes in September.
Her visit was an opportunity to discover our school, learn more about the environment in which PrepaTec students study French and further strengthen the relationship between our two institutions.
The timing couldn't have been better: her visit coincided with the students' final day of classes!
To mark the end of their programme, each class performed a song in French!
The day concluded with a certificate ceremony, recognising the students' efforts and achievements throughout their language immersion experience.

Students learn French in a French-speaking environment, giving them opportunities to practise the language beyond the classroom, discover French culture and develop greater confidence in communicating.
Each class performed a song in French, followed by a certificate ceremony. Melva Villarreal, Director of International Programs at PrepaTec, was also present on their final day.
