Centre International d’Antibes has received the French Language School of the Year 2026 award at the UED Summit in Ankara, Türkiye, on 9 October 2026. This marks our second international award in just over a month, following our victory at the StudyTravel Star Awards in London in September.
First London. Now Ankara!
Just weeks after celebrating our first international award of the year, we have another wonderful reason to celebrate.
Two awards. Two countries. And a whole community of teachers, students, staff and international partners who have made these achievements possible.
For a school that has been welcoming French learners to Antibes since 1985, it's a particularly special moment.

The UED Summit 2026 took place from 8 to 10 October at the JW Marriott Hotel in Ankara, bringing together education agencies, language schools and professionals from the international education sector.
The event is organised by UED (The Association of International Educational Counselors Türkiye), an association founded in 2001 by 15 companies specialising in study-abroad consultancy.
UED brings together trusted educational consultancy agencies across Türkiye, promoting quality, reliability and professional standards in international education.
In 2026, the organisation celebrated its 25th anniversary, making this year's summit particularly significant.
Over three days, participants attended expert panel discussions, B2B meetings and networking events focused on strengthening international partnerships and exchanging ideas about the future of studying abroad.
The celebrations included a gala dinner and awards ceremony on 9 October, during which institutions were recognised across 15 categories.
And among the winners?
Centre International d’Antibes, named French Language School of the Year 2026!
For us, receiving this recognition from the international education community is both an honour and a wonderful reminder of the relationships we have developed with education professionals around the world.
It's been quite a few weeks for Centre International d’Antibes.
On 5 September 2026, we received the ST Star French Language School 2026 award at the StudyTravel Star Awards in London.
The StudyTravel Star Awards celebrate excellence in international education, with education agents voting for schools and service providers across the industry.
We shared that moment with our community in our previous article, Centre International d’Antibes Named ST Star French Language School 2026.
Just over a month later, we found ourselves celebrating again, this time in Ankara.
Although the StudyTravel Star Awards and the UED Summit Awards are independent events, they share something important: both recognise institutions within the international education sector.
For CIA, receiving two such distinctions in the same year is particularly meaningful.
Behind each award are years of collaboration with international education agencies, thousands of students welcomed to the French Riviera and a team that works every day to make learning French a memorable experience.
Want to see how we celebrated? Take a look at our award announcements on Instagram and LinkedIn.
Since 1985, Centre International d’Antibes has welcomed students from around the world to learn French on the Côte d’Azur.
Over more than 40 years, our school has grown, our programmes have evolved and generations of students have passed through our classrooms.
But our philosophy remains the same.
Learning French should be more than sitting in a classroom.
It's about finding the confidence to order your first coffee entirely in French, making friends with people from different countries and discovering a culture through everyday experiences.
Sometimes, it's about learning a new word in class and hearing it again five minutes later while walking through the streets of Antibes.
And sometimes, it's about returning home with much more than improved language skills.
These are the experiences we want to create, whether we're welcoming teenagers on their first international language trip or adults who have decided that now is the perfect time to learn French.
Receiving international recognition for our work is deeply rewarding.
It also strengthens our commitment to providing quality education, improving our programmes and continuing to create meaningful experiences for our students.
An awards ceremony lasts an evening.
The work behind a language school happens every single day.
And while our school's name appears on the trophy, these achievements belong to a much larger community.
To our teachers, who bring patience, creativity and enthusiasm into the classroom, thank you for making French learning engaging and accessible.
To our administrative, accommodation and activity teams, who organise everything from arrivals to excursions and countless details in between, thank you for making each student's experience possible.
To our international partners and education agencies, thank you for your trust, collaboration and the relationships we have built together over the years.
To the families, thank you for choosing CIA and trusting us with experiences that often represent important milestones in your children's lives.
And to our students, thank you for filling our classrooms and campuses with your languages, cultures, curiosity and energy.
You are what makes Centre International d’Antibes an international community rather than simply a place to study.
These two awards belong to all of you. Merci à tous!
2026 has already given us two unforgettable moments.
But while receiving international awards is a wonderful achievement, what matters most is what happens here in Antibes every day.
The first conversations in French. The friendships between students from different continents. The confidence that grows throughout a language stay.
And the feeling of leaving France knowing that you've learned something new, not only about the language, but perhaps about yourself too.
That is what continues to inspire our work.
To UED, StudyTravel, our international partners and everyone who has contributed to this journey: thank you for being part of our story.
We look forward to welcoming many more students, creating new experiences and continuing to share our passion for French language and culture.
Whether you're considering French courses for adults or looking for an unforgettable experience through our French language camps for children and teenagers, there's a place for you in our international community.
The next chapter of our story is still being written. We'd love for you to be part of it.
À très bientôt à Antibes!
