Our activity leaders, well-versed in a caring relationship with teenagers, remain strict about curfew times and are present 24/7.
The standard morning classes take place in groups of a maximum of 15 students.
Teachers focus on fostering a friendly atmosphere conducive to developing oral skills so that each student can build confidence.
Students are accommodated at "Campus Carnot", a 10-minute walk from the city centre and sandy beaches. The Campus, listed as a historic monument, provides a complete living environment.
On site: classrooms, accommodation, restaurant, swimming pool, sports grounds, gardens and double room accommodation. Host families are also available for 13/15 year olds.
For teenagers, the programme in Cannes is a language stay in the sun, synonymous with fun and learning.
On the weekly programme: a half-day excursion, a full day at the weekend, a sailing afternoon, plus activities that are constantly renewed with tree climbing, Laser Quest, Aquasplash, Jump XL, bowling, sports tournaments...
The activity team present 24/7 organises pool games, evening events and shows, or accompanies students to the beach.
Young people are taken care of from the moment they arrive at Nice Côte d'Azur airport, Cannes train station or at the campus reception. From that moment on, the activity team will remain present and will also ensure supervision of each student's outings.
For 12 year olds, no permission to go out alone. However, young people aged 13 to 15 are free to go to town or to the beach after activities end, until dinner at 7:30pm.
Supervision
An activity team present 24/7
Our activity leaders are privileged contacts for our students, and the activity team ensures the smooth integration of each student from the moment of arrival within the small community that is a campus or school.
The activity team, its closeness, its joie de vivre and the sense of security it inspires in young people is an essential element of a successful stay.
Within our campuses, we follow a rigorous organisation that meets specific standards: a centre manager (coordination of all staff), an academic coordinator (management of the teaching team), an activities manager (management of the activity team), a deputy activities manager (second in command), surveillance staff on the boarding school floors during the day when children are present, and at night.
Safety
Strict control of entry and exit!
Activity teams record all student entries and exits and ensure compliance with parental authorisation and the return of each student, leaving nothing to chance.
At night, supervisors and activity leaders sleep on site, while night guards have already been on duty since 7:30pm.
During the day, a free shuttle service connects the campuses to the city centre or the beaches, while the activities at our kiosk comply with European safety standards.

Cannes, 30 km from Nice Côte d'Azur airport, is an easy-going city set along long sandy beaches.
Students will get around on foot and will be able to enjoy the very fashionable "Croisette" as well as the charming "Plages du Midi", which are less sophisticated and perhaps better suited to what they are looking for at this age. There they will meet young French people their own age.
Cannes is a city where young people will quickly find their bearings and make French friends on the beaches of La Bocca.
More than on the upscale Croisette, it is around these beaches frequented by French teenagers, behind the old port, that students will find the friendly and affordable ecosystem that one looks for at this age. The activity team will never be far away...
Choosing Cannes means choosing a rich language programme that combines the theoretical learning of French with the practical application of lessons through real-life situation modules with the local population.
Through these modules, young people will have to experience achieving a common goal alongside learning French. They will thus have gained the confidence to conduct meaningful exchanges in real life.
The programme is open to young people aged 12 to 17, however it should be noted that teenagers aged 15 to 17 make up the majority on campus.
Please note that 16/17 year olds may benefit from a parental outing authorisation allowing them to return to the campus at 01:00 on Friday and Saturday evenings.
Based on their language level assessed during the entry test held on the Monday of their arrival, students have 3 hours of French classes daily based on an active teaching methodology designed to stimulate the desire to learn in young students.
First part: 2 hours of traditional work
These standard French courses for teenagers allow students to work on 4 skills (reading, speaking, writing and listening):
Grammar, pronunciation as well as French civilisation also complement these skills in line with the recommendations of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
Second part: 1 hour of oral activities
This hour, more active, light and enjoyable, is designed to make students love French. Each teacher plans oral activities that complement the first part of the lesson in order to interact with and build confidence in young students.
Intensive courses are aimed at students wishing to progress quickly. They offer general French language teaching focused on acquiring the oral, written and grammatical skills essential for each level. Pronunciation and French civilisation also complement these skills.
Based on the students' level and in line with the recommendations of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, teachers create a weekly programme of more than eighteen hours to help their students progress.
Thanks to the active teaching methodology developed by the Centre International d'Antibes, teachers know how to capture the interest of young people and engage them in work on written and oral expression and comprehension.
The young audience is thus engaged in stimulating educational activities that spark the desire to learn during the 3h45 of each morning session.
