Coming on a school trip to Antibes means experiencing a stay in complete tranquility and safety in a city with a human scale (75,000 people), facilitating a quick orientation for students; it means being based in a small town nestled in the heart of the French Riviera between Menton and Saint Tropez, with countless cultural sites nearby; it means being in a city in maritime Provence steeped in a two-thousand-year-old history.
All graduates of the University and specialized in teaching French as a foreign language (FLE). At the International Center of Antibes, they are trained to deploy an active, alert, and effective pedagogy that takes into account the age of the students and the very short duration of the language course. Before, during, and after the stay, our teachers are by your side.
Based on your instructions, their program will complement your own teaching. A brief oral feedback is planned every day. Before your departure, a longer feedback session is scheduled. They will then be able to provide you with information and pedagogical documents that may help you. Two weeks after your departure, a "Pedagogical Assessment" written by each teacher, summarizing the work done with your students by skills, will be sent to you by the pedagogical direction.
Organized and prepared for your students according to your expectations and preferences. This recreational and cultural program can be linked to the pedagogical framework previously defined with you. Each outing can thus be prepared during the morning class.
Our pedagogical monthly magazine "Le Français et vous" was launched in December 2009 to meet the demands of foreign colleagues regarding the innovative and dynamic methodological approach, designed to arouse interest and put the student in a favorable disposition that we develop when working with songs, film excerpts, novel passages, advertisements, newspaper articles, etc.
In addition to a concrete example of "Active Pedagogy" applied to an authentic document presented in the form of a pedagogical sheet, "French and You" delivers each month our favorite selections of recently released Francophone works that deserve our attention. Each month, a film, an album of songs, and a literary work are highlighted. An editorial on France accompanies this section dedicated to cultural news.
While "French and You" was designed to meet the expectations of our foreign colleagues, we also wanted to reserve an important section for their students. Small illustrated and animated exercises make up the third section of our pedagogical magazine. These quick games allow the teacher to create a small set of exercises to be done outside the classroom or to compose a small language and civilization course that they will project in class using a projector. Students individually or in pairs will have to select the correct answer and justify it.
It is worth noting that "French and You" is also open to contributions from colleagues outside the International Center of Antibes who can therefore publish their own Pedagogical Sheet or favorite selection.

School Groups Director's Message
A language stay is only successful if, beyond the teaching, all other services and aspects of the program are of quality.
In general, our pedagogy and methodology aim to "highlight" the student, to build their confidence, and to make them want to explore the language further.
The teacher develops linguistic and cultural skills through didactic activities and often playful exercises using authentic and current documents that capture the interest of learners.
We design our French courses in close collaboration with you, the French teacher, offering a tailored program in terms of content, themes, and number of hours.
The most requested courses are usually our standard courses of 15 hours per week (the number of hours can be extended). Evaluations can be organized if needed, and the content can be adapted to the needs of your students.
Thus, many specializations are possible, such as professional French, French for tourism or hospitality, or exam preparations like DELF, Esabac, Abibac, and the Living Certificate.
Autonomy Workshops
Depending on the CEFR level of the class group, these workshops present students with problems they must solve collectively within their group. These didactic games, supervised by a teacher, place students in a different relationship with the language, allowing them to freely express their spontaneity and desire to communicate.
Mission in France Workshops
During these workshops, students interact with the local population accompanied by the teacher to conduct surveys. Communication acts, grammar points, and the approach to French and regional culture take on a different meaning and move away from mere school subjects.
Finally, our thematic stays are based on the concept of "Learning by Doing." These programs, developed by our pedagogical direction, extend beyond the classroom to further motivate young learners by positioning them as active participants in their stay. The theme, a common thread in the morning classes and afternoon activities, allows students to improve their French levels while developing numerous other skills in a fun and effective manner through the completion of a project in supportive mini-teams.

These residences offer different accommodation standards suitable for all budgets. They are located in Juan-les-Pins, a few minutes' walk from the city center and beaches, and 15 minutes from our school, exclusively dedicated to our students.
Our Host Families
Carefully selected, they welcome your students throughout the year in their homes, providing a secure environment. They share their daily life, introduce French culture, and practice French for guaranteed immersion.
We organize activities and excursions supervised by our animators for a true cultural and educational experience that complements morning classes.
They are with the group to interact with the students in French and contribute to linguistic immersion. Programs are tailored to the group's desires and objectives.

Perfume creation as a trigger for immersion
From flower to fragrance, a chain of stimulating activities immerses students in a social, economic, and cultural environment deeply rooted in French and regional identity.
