Julien’s Travel Journal: A Week of Immersion in Antibes

"As soon as we arrived, we were welcomed with breakfast before taking a placement test. The atmosphere was relaxed and our teachers made us feel comfortable. The classes were great, with games, discussions, and role-plays that helped us speak French."

Mornings are dedicated to French classes adapted to the students’ level, with teaching focused on oral and written communication. Groups benefit from an interactive method, allowing natural and progressive learning.

"I really enjoyed the classes because they were different from what we have at school. We did lots of conversation exercises, and our teachers encouraged us to speak."

Afternoons of Discovery and Culture

After class, students enjoy cultural activities and excursions, designed to enrich their French learning while discovering the French Riviera.

"In the afternoons, we explored Nice with its famous Promenade des Anglais, then Cannes to see the Palais des Festivals. My favorite moment was the visit to Fragonard perfumery in Grasse – the smell of flowers and the perfume-making process were fascinating!"

Carnaval mise en place

Each program is personalized according to the teacher’s expectations, with varied activities like:

• Exploring iconic cities: Nice, Cannes, Monaco, Grasse.
• Cultural visits: Picasso Museum, Provençal markets, Fragonard perfumery.
• Local workshops and experiences: French food tastings, pétanque introduction.

"Besides the outings, we also participated in on-site activities like a pétanque tournament and a treasure hunt in Antibes to get to know the city better."

Unique February Experiences: Carnival and Valentine's Day

February was particularly lively, with festive events that marked the school groups’ stays:

🎭 Carnival: Students learned about the history of this celebration through cultural workshops, created a mascot, and took part in a costume afternoon with music, fun, and joy.

💌 Valentine’s Day: To celebrate this day of love and creativity, students participated in an artistic workshop. Using paint and their thumbs, they created beautiful colorful artworks inspired by love and friendship. The workshop ended with a cheerful photo session to capture the moment while practicing French in a fun and original way.
