How can I get around Paris ?

  • Metro subway, RER and tram : With almost 400 stations, the Paris Metro Subway is one of the most practical ways to get around Paris. The R.E.R. trains run between 6:00 AM and 12:30 PM and the Metro Subway between 5:30 AM and 1:15 AM, and until 2:15 AM on Fridays, Saturdays, and Holidays.
  • Bus : Buses travel across the Paris region in every direction with close to 300 lines. The buses run from 7:00 AM to 8:30 PM.
  • The "Noctilien" bus line: These buses replace the Metro Subway and R.E.R. from 12:30 AM to 5:30 AM.
  • The "Open Tour" bus line: Open tour buses have four bus routes and cover the capital all day long offering guided tours in 8 languages. They run from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM making many stops along the way and they pass by every 10 to 25 minutes.
