Testimonials

Several of our international students share their language stay in Juan-les-Pins at our school: French classes, activities, entertainment, accommodation... Discover their stories!

Juan-les-Pins

Juan-les-Pins, the “fun” district of Antibes, is actually the name of the town’s most beautiful beach, which has been joined by urban development.

Located between Nice and Cannes, Juan-les-Pins is a paradise for students and can be seen as the Saint-Tropez of young people.

FAQ

Why choose a language stay in Juan-les-Pins?

For 40 years, we have been organising language stays in Juan-les-Pins. This town on the Côte d’Azur perfectly combines a relaxed atmosphere with French chic. In this human-sized seaside resort, everything can be reached on foot. Students can easily move between their accommodation, the beaches and the town centre, which are all just a few metres apart.

Why choose the “Premium” Winter version of language stays in France?

The Premium – Winter programme offers young people an exclusive stay combining comfort, learning and discovery. They benefit from French courses in mini-groups, high-end winter activities and accommodation in high-standard residences. Winter on the Côte d’Azur is a unique opportunity to enjoy snow in the mountains and then be back by the sea just a few minutes away. This double experience makes the stay even more memorable. Every detail is designed to ensure the perfect balance between learning, relaxation and unforgettable moments.

Are teenagers allowed to go out of the residences on their own?

Students aged 12 are not allowed to go out alone. From age 13, they can have free time to go to the beach or go shopping until dinner time. With parental authorisation, 16 and 17-year-olds may go out until 10:00 pm from Monday to Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays, they may stay out until 1:00 am and the school shuttles bring them back to the campuses.

Who supervises my child, and when?

The activity team is present 24/7 from arrival. The site follows a clear structure: a centre manager, an academic director, an activity manager and a deputy, plus floor supervisors in the residence during the day and at night. Managers and activity leaders sleep on site, and night security staff are on duty from 7:30pm.

Who meets my child on arrival?

Your child is taken care of from the moment they arrive at Nice Côte d'Azur airport, Antibes train station or the residence. Airport and station transfers are included in the price at the weekend, so there is no moment when a young traveller is left alone.

Where do the students stay?

In the school's own Castel Arabel residence, a quiet 80-bed campus between Antibes and Juan-les-Pins, a ten-minute walk from the beaches and the town centre. Rooms are air-conditioned, single or shared, with private bathrooms. Breakfast and dinner are served on site.

What is included in the price?

The programme is all-inclusive: French courses, accommodation, full board, activities and excursions, safety and supervision, and transfers. Lunch is taken at the "Le Château" school with a sea view. A VIP accommodation option at Castel Arabel (room with balcony, towel set) is available as a supplement.

How many French lessons are there each week, and for which levels?

Twenty morning lessons of 45 minutes a week, open to all levels from beginner to advanced. Students take a placement test on the Monday of arrival and learn in small groups of maximum 10 to 12. An optional intensive course runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays in classes of maximum 6.

What makes the winter programme different?

It combines the sea and the mountains in one stay. Each week includes a full day in the mountains at Isola 2000 for snow activities, two excursions to places like Monaco, Nice, Cannes or Èze, several half-days of activities, themed evenings and a weekend day of activities, all from a Riviera base a few minutes from the beach.

Does my child need to know how to ski?

No prior experience is needed. The mountain day at Isola 2000 is open to all levels, and it can mean skiing, sledging or snowshoeing depending on the group, so a complete beginner is just as welcome as an experienced skier. Equipment and supervision are organised as part of the programme.

What activities are included?

A full day in the mountains each week, two regional excursions, and a varied programme of paintball, tree climbing, escape games, creative and cooking workshops, sports tournaments and themed evenings such as BBQ, karaoke, casino night and blind test. The activity team runs and supervises everything.

What are the dates and ages for the winter stay?

The Premium Winter programme runs from 10 January to 6 March 2027 and is open to teenagers aged 12 to 17.

Is the residence far from the school?

Classes and lunch take place at the "Le Château" school, which students reach by bus each morning from the Castel Arabel residence. A free shuttle also links the campus with the town centre and the beaches during the day.

How does the winter camp compare with your other junior programmes?

The Winter programme is the cold-season version, built around the mountain-and-sea combination. In summer, the same Juan-les-Pins Premium runs alongside other Riviera camps in Antibes and Cannes, and the Prestige leadership programme. All share the same supervision and residence model; they differ by season, activities and location.
