Third largest city of the French Riviera, famous worldwide and conveniently located after Monaco & Nice and before Saint Tropez, Cannes is the trendy place to be, especially for students : aside from the luxury world of the Croisette, Cannes has a wealth of free beaches and cheaper places to eat and have fun. Cannes is clean and safe. It is a reasonably sized city where it is easy to settle in and go around.

COURSES IN CANNES
Standard course 20 lessons x 45min/week from Monday to Friday 9am-12.20pm*. 15 students maximum per class.
Intensive course 26 lessons x 45min/week from Monday to Friday 9am-12.20pm* and on Tuesday and Thursday 2.00pm-4.00pm. 15 students maximum per class in the morning, 8 in the afternoon.
Individual course Number of lessons on request.
Break: 20 min. break in the morning. No classes on the first day: Introduction meeting and visit of the city in the morning. Written and oral tests at 2pm. No classes on public holidays the lessons are neither replaced nor refunded except for the individual classes.

Our spacious student housing in the heart of Cannes is just a 15-20 minute walk from the Cannes festival and beaches.

ALL-INCLUSIVE CAMPUS The campus is reserved for our students. On-site amenities include accommodation, classrooms, a self-service restaurant, a cyber space, an above-ground pool, gardens and sport fields. SETTING:
This building is classified as a historic monument, can hold up to 120 students and is just a mile and a half from local beaches and « La Croisette ».
This campus has classrooms, double rooms, an above-ground pool, a large self-service restaurant and grounds for outdoor recreation, all conveniently located on the same site.
Spacious twin rooms.
Private bathroom (shower and toilets) shared by 2 twin rooms*.
MEALS AND COURSES:
Courses are held on the premises.
All meals are taken on-site with the exception of weekend’s excursions days (packed lunch provided).
Summer Classes at Carnot Campus. Students benefit from its afternoon and evening shuttle service.
One night per week After the « barbecue » or « disco » evening, a shuttle bus will drop off the students near their familys’ home.
ACTIVITIES AND SUPERVISION IN CANNES
Every day after the lessons and meals, we offer a varied program of excursions and/or activities. They all are organized and supervised by our tour leaders. No excursion the weekends of your arrival/departure. EACH WEEK:Excursions:
A day trip to « Iles de Lérins », Nice or to a nautical theme park.
One half-day excursion to « Marineland » dolphin park, Antibes or to Monaco.
Our tour leaders organize various activities such as sport tournaments, games, themed activities, entertainment…
The shuttle service will also be available if students wish to go to the beach or to the city center.
One barbecue evening for all students (campus and host families).
One disco or thematic evening (at the Atoll junior premises) only for students accommodated on campus.
Entertainment evenings: our tour leaders organize games and fun activities such as cabaret, casino, games, Olympic games, shows… (only for students accommodated on campus).
KIOSK ACTIVITIES (to be booked and paid on the spot): In addition to our activity program, there is a choice of extra activities such as water-skiing, horse-riding, paragliding… These activities are provided by carefully selected national instructors or adequately qualified external providers to ensure the greatest standards of safety.
Arrivals are on Sundays and departures are on Saturdays, however, it is possible to reserve one extra day upon arrival and/or before departure (supplement: 85 €).
Airport: There is a shared transfer to the campus. Upon their arrival in Nice International airport, your child will be met by our representative who will be wearing a yellow CIA T-shirt. We are offering several shared transfers during the day (approximately 2 in the morning and 3 in the afternoon). That means that before being transferred to the campus, your child may have to wait with a group leader in order to gather students arriving via other incoming flights (maximum of 2 hours). Your child will be accompanied by a member of our staff during any waiting time spent at the airport.
Arrival/departure transfers (included): Students will be met by their host family in Nice/Côte d’Azur international airport or in Cannes train station. Transfers from Mondays to Fridays are charged at 50€/trip/person.
Please make sure we receive the the compulsory arrival & departure, going out and health form prior to the student’s arrival. You may use your own form, as long as all mandatory information (see our form) is included.
Extra cost for one week stay for all destinations: 50€ *No lessons on French national holidays, nor on the Monday of arrival (lessons not replaced)

HOW TO REACH CANNES
At 28 km from Nice/Cote d’Azur international airport, Cannes is very easy to reach from anywhere in the world:
Only 7 hours from New-York (direct flights).
Less than 2 hours from the major European capitals (direct flights).
Only 1:20 hours from Paris by plane (direct flights) and at 4:30 hours by high speed train (TGV).
MEANS OF TRANSPORTATION WITHIN CANNES
BY FOOT: The families, the beach, downtown and all activities are all within reasonable walking distances of one another (a short bus ride may be necessary). SCOOTERS: Scooters and small motorbikes are very practical. Rentals start at 30€ per day. BY BUS: Good and convenient network. The service operates until 8pm. A bus pass costs around 10€/week a bus journey costs only 1€. TAXIS: One way trip costs from 15€ depending on the trip. TRAIN AND BUS: Link all the cities along the coast at a frequency of about 1 every 20 minutes every day. Stations are never far away from the beaches.

Summer season: Students are advised to pack comfortable clothes including sport and swimming outfits. Sun protection is necessary (hat and sunscreen). A light jacket may be necessary for the evenings.
