An exclusive program including French classes, sporting activities and accommodation on the Côte d’Azur!

Do you want to enjoy a unique French learning experience on the Côte d’Azur? Join our sports program!

A perfect blend of work and pleasure, this language stay has been specially designed by the teams at the Centre International d’Antibes. It allows students to learn French in the morning before taking part in exclusive sporting activities with an experienced professional coach 4 afternoons a week.

In addition, participants on this program will be housed in the same residence, thus facilitating interaction and creating a welcoming, international immersive experience.

French classes

20 lessons per week from Monday to Friday

These classes are held from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.* They focus on grammar and oral and reading comprehension in accordance with the recommendations of the CEFR, based on the proficiency of each student.

With no more than 12 students per class, improving your understanding and spoken expression will be child’s play.

*Including a 15-minute break

A unique French language learning experience, combining the structure of French classes, the energy of sporting activities and the fun of socializing.

A professional coach

Participants on this sports program will be supported by a professional, qualified, experienced coach who will lead the group for 4 afternoons.

This dynamic, attentive sports coach will adapt to the group and the ability and wishes of participants in order to draw up a bespoke program, tailored to the needs of students.

An international experience

Learning French with the help of this package means opting for an international experience with an opportunity to meet people who share the same interests as you.

It gives you the opportunity to combine work, sport and exploring the Côte d’Azur while continuously practicing the French language in a fun way during classes and sporting activities!

Exclusive activities

On the program: jogging, cross-training, trail running, mountain-biking from Antibes to Nice, forest mountain-biking, kayaking or paddle-boarding.

Wednesday will be set aside to recover or take private sessions with the coach (at a surcharge) for those looking for more intensity.

Accommodation

We offer students accommodation in our Aragon residence, a stone's throw from the beaches and center of Juan-les-Pins.

Students are housed in modern, stylishly decorated studios with 14-20m2 in floorspace, with all mod cons (kitchenette, reversible air conditioning) The ideal spot for a vacation in the South of France.

Why choose the French course with sport in Antibes?

On the first day of the week students will meet their coach and review the upcoming activities for the week. Snacks will be on offer on the day and participants will get to know each other in a warm, friendly atmosphere.

Students can take advantage of their free weekend to explore one of the most beautiful French regions, the Côte d’Azur! The Côte d’Azur owes its current status as a top tourist destination primarily to its warm climate and its 75 miles of beaches.

Useful information

First day at the school:
Students who have completed the assessment test no later than the Wednesday preceding their arrival will be able to start classes straight away on the Monday morning. Everyone else will complete the test at the school on the Monday morning and start classes on the Tuesday morning. The school organises an information meeting and a guided tour of the town.

Course location:
In general, lessons are held at the “Le Château” school. When this school has reached maximum capacity, students take their lessons at the “Le Port” school.

Lessons are held in the morning whilst afternoons are for yoga, meditation, aerial yoga, pilates or nature trips to the beach. There is also a welcome party, a tea ceremony and a meditation seminar.

This program includes French classes every morning and a guided tour of the south of France in the afternoon. The residence is located a stone's throw from the town-center and beaches.

FAQ

Yes, you must provide the Centre International d’Antibes with a doctor's certificate issued within the 12 months preceding your participation in the program.

The Centre International d’Antibes will provide you with the necessary equipment to take part in the sporting activities. However, participants should bring several changes of sportswear, gloves for cycling, a drinking bottle and trainers.

Yes, sporting activities take place on Monday, Thursday and Friday. As such, you will be able to book 45-60 minute private sessions with the coach on the Wednesday (for an additional fee).
