Paris is the city of romance par excellence, the fashion capital and the best example of
French art de vivre.

Exploring Paris is an essential rite of passage for anyone who decides to learn French and get to know France. There are so many things to do and see in Paris that, however long you stay, it won't seem long enough. You can climb to the top of the Eiffel Tower to enjoy breathtaking views of the city, wander along the Champs-Elysées, visit the Louvre, have fun at Disneyland Paris, go shopping or window-shopping in the stores of Le Marais and the Place des Vosges.

Enjoying an ice-cream or macaroons on a terrace, enjoying the parks and gardens, seeing a musical or taking part in an Escape Game are all things you can do in the capital. Paris is also a city of sport which is renowned for football (PSG) and tennis (Roland Garros and Paris-Bercy tournaments). Montmartre is the setting of Amélie, and will captivate you with its preserved authenticity. This district, which resembles a village with its paved streets, its portraitists and bistros is an absolute must-see.

A perfect program for teens

visit paris

In addition to our programs of activities, teens can indulge in many leisure activities and, according to our group leaders, the requests are many!

In Paris, our program meets the expectations of juniors and the requirements of their parents. Teens are sure to love their stay on an international campus with other teens from the world over, as well as activities, parties and exploring the curiosities of the capital. A unique, unforgettable experience!

As for parents, they will impressed by the standard of the French classes and the way their offspring are looked after. They will be reassured by the comprehensive support and services offered as part of the “all-inclusive” course. At the Centre International d’Antibes, we do not compromise on safety! For example, the campus is guarded by night watchmen from 7.30 pm to 7 am. In addition, all meals are prepared on-site and meet very strict health and safety standards (HACCP).

Teens are supervised 24 hours a day and group leaders are on-hand to respond to their requests, organize games, share meals... Indeed, group leaders are always around students to assist and supervise them. Isn’t that reassuring? Of course, there is an organized program of activities, excursions and parties.

Tips and tricks

How much pocket money do I need?

Gastronomic bistros and street food will satisfy your appetite. Paris has countless food options (sandwich shops, take-aways etc.). For a pizza, budget for around €8-12. For a starter, main and dessert, it all depends on the restaurant and district but you will need to shell out around €15-20. In terms of going out, a movie ticket costs €9 on average. For shopping, the department stores on Boulevard Haussmann are the place to be. There are sales twice a year: usually for a month in January and a month at the end of June.

Paris, a mobile town

In terms of internet access, there are many internet cafés and free wifi in public places (libraries, parks etc.). In terms of transport, the métro (subway) and RER (regional train network) run between 6 am and 1 am. At night, the Noctilien (night bus) runs from 0.30 am to 5.30 am. As for taxis, they run 24 hours a day. There are pay-per-use toilets as well as public toilets called "sanisettes" in all districts. In all there are 400 of these and they are free.

And what about the weather?

Paris has a moderate climate affected by ocean currents. Winters are cold but not too harsh and summers are fairly warm. Temperatures range from 8 to 12°C (46-54°F) in winter and 14 to 18°C (57-64°F) in spring. In summer, average temperatures range from 25 to 35°C (77- 96°F) whereas in the fall they fluctuate between 15 and 23°C (59-73°F). Remember to bring warm, light-weight clothing as well as clothing suitable for rainy weather since showers are not unheard of!
