How to get to Nice ?
By plane : Nice airport is served by flights from many European and Mediterranean cities.
By train : Nice station is served by high-speed trains, conventional long-distance trains and international trains.
How can I get around Nice ?
On foot : For short journeys this is the best way to get around in order to avoid traffic jams and parking problems, especially during the holiday period.
By bus ou en tramway : During the day around a hundred buses operate. A night bus service runs from 9pm to 1am.
By tramway: A tram network covers the town 21 hours a day. One-way ticket costs 1 euro.
By taxi: You can hail a cab in the street or reserve one in advance.

Activities : The prehistoric cave at Le Lazaret, the Astorama, Nice Opera, shopping, ice-skating – there’s plenty to do in Nice. Don’t forget to discover the city on the little tourist train or by electric tricycle!

What should I wear in Nice ?
In summer : In view of the strong sun and summer temperatures, bring light clothing and don’t forget your swimsuit, sunglasses and sun block! Pack a light sweater for cooler evenings.
At other times of the year : Temperatures remain mild throughout the year, but do bring sweaters and jackets.
