Each week includes a wide choice of activities, two sports half-days, one excursion and supervised evening events. 24/7 supervision guarantees a safe environment, as in all of our junior language stays.
The French courses, designed to encourage participation, consist of 20 lessons of 45 minutes in groups of a maximum of 10 students . The teaching approach focuses on speaking skills, as in all our French courses for young learners.
An
intensive course
option adds 6 lessons in a mini-group (6 students), ideal for participants who wish to progress faster.
A placement test is held every Monday to place each student in the right group. You can also already take an
online test to assess your level of French
Teenagers are accommodated directly on the Campus International de Cannes, in air-conditioned twin rooms with private bathroom.

Each week includes a varied program combining sports, water and cultural activities:
-
2 afternoons of activities
: sailing, trampoline, Ninja course, laser tag…
-1 half-day excursion
: Cannes, Monaco, Antibes…
-For 2-week stays
: full-day outings (Aquasplash, water sports centre, Lérins Islands).
This program is one of our most comprehensive in terms of activities, similar to what we offer on our
premium language camps.
Evenings include games, barbecues, tournaments and themed activities supervised by our activity leaders.
Young students are taken care of as soon as they arrive at Nice Côte d’Azur airport, Antibes train station or at the residence reception. From that moment on, the activity team remains present and also supervises each student’s permissions to go out.
Our young students can benefit from parental permission to go out; below are the different options offered by the school depending on age. Please note that age is determined by the full date of birth (day, month, year) and not only by the year of birth.
Supervision
A team of activity leaders present 24/7
Our activity leaders are key contacts for our students, and the activity team ensures that everyone is well integrated from the moment they arrive in this small community that is a campus or a school. The activity team, their closeness, their enthusiasm and the sense of safety they provide are essential elements in the success of the stay.
On our campuses, we follow a rigorous organisation that meets specific standards: a centre manager (coordinating all staff), an academic manager (managing the teaching team), an activity manager (managing the activity team), an assistant activity manager (assistant to the activity manager), supervisory staff on the boarding floors during the day while the children are present in the residence, and at night.
Safety
Strict control of entrances and exits!
The activity teams record all entries and exits of students and ensure that parental permissions are respected and that everyone returns safely, leaving nothing to chance. At night, the supervisors and activity leaders sleep on site, while the night guards are already on duty from 7:30 pm.
During the day, a free shuttle service links the campuses with the town centre or the beaches, and the activities offered by our kiosk comply with European safety standards.
No permission to go out alone
Free to go to town or to the beach after the end of activities and until dinner at 7:30 pm
Several of our international students share their language stay in Juan-les-Pins at our school: French courses, activities, entertainment, accommodation... Discover their stories!

Cannes, 30 km from Nice Côte d’Azur airport, is an easy-going town set along long sandy beaches.
Students will get around on foot and will be able to enjoy the very trendy “Croisette” as well as the pretty “Plages du Midi”, which are less sophisticated and perhaps better suited to their wishes. There, they will meet French teenagers of their own age.

The stay is open to all levels, from complete beginner to advanced.
Yes.
A placement test is held every Monday so that each student can join the right group.
Lessons on the
Cannes Premium (12–15 years) program are held on the
Campus International de Cannes, a site entirely dedicated to students,
located on the seafront and just a few minutes’ walk from the town centre.
The campus offers an ideal environment for teenagers: small classes, an international atmosphere, a large sunny terrace and an on-site restaurant where young people have lunch every day after lessons. Everything is designed so that learning French takes place in a motivating, friendly and safe environment.
On site: modern classrooms, residence with air-conditioned rooms and private bathroom, large self-service restaurant, café-bar, Mediterranean gardens and sports grounds, with direct access to the beach.
Depending on their language level assessed during the placement test held on the Monday of their arrival, students have 3 hours of French lessons per day based on active teaching methods to stimulate young learners’ desire to learn.
First part: 2 hours of traditional work
These standard French courses for teenagers develop 4 skills (reading, speaking, writing and listening):
Grammar, pronunciation and French civilization also complement these skills in line with the recommendations of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
Second part: 1 hour of oral activities
This hour, more active, light and enjoyable, is designed to make students love French. Each teacher plans oral activities that complement the first part of the lesson in order to interact and build the young learners’ confidence.
The
intensive courses
are aimed at students who wish to
make rapid progress
. They offer general French teaching focused on acquiring the
oral, written and grammatical skills required for each level
. Pronunciation and French civilization also complement these skills.
Depending on the students’ level and in line with the recommendations of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, teachers create a
weekly program of more than eighteen hours to help their students progress
.
Thanks to the active teaching methods developed by the Centre International d’Antibes, teachers know how to capture young people’s interest and engage them in
work on both written and oral expression and comprehension.
