A pleasant, comfortable, effective stay.
Our first goal is to make your learning varied, living and effective.
On the first morning we’ll welcome you and all the other new students, present the school to you and hold a briefing meeting to give you all the information you need about your stay. You’ll get to know our team before taking a French test to assess your written and spoken language skills and enable us to place you in a class that suits your level.
You’ll also go off to visit Antibes. There are no lessons on this first day. After the tests you’ll be given the details of your school (either Le Château or Le Port).
With your CIA student card you’ll receive discounts from museums, cinemas, theaters, restaurants, sports clubs and other services.
You’ll receive this little booklet on your arrival. In it you’ll find information about the organization of the school and the surrounding area.
A free shuttle bus runs between "Le Château" and "Le Port" Monday to Friday (available for the outward journey only). Students living in our residences can also take a shuttle bus to get to the school (2 €uros, available for the outward journey only).
A self-service restaurant is open at "Le Château" Monday to Friday (breakfast 5 €uros, lunch 8-10 €uros). Drinks and snacks are also available there from vending machines.
Students at "Le Port school" might prefer to have lunch in one of the many restaurants or snack bars on the harbor or in the old town. During breaks, drinks vending machines are available at the school.
In the evenings a wide range of restaurants in Antibes and Juan les Pins offer everything from budget dining to gourmet feasts.
Our students can use the library and free wi-fi at the “Le Château” school. A mini cyber zone is also available at the “Le Port” school.
Each week students wishing to use their free time to visit the region are offered a program of activities and excursions (at an extra charge).
Our Head of Teaching is available at the school to answer all your questions about the courses.
The reception is open before and after lessons and during breaks to give you all the help you need, deal with your concerns and liaise with our administration.
We will give you a "Certificate of French" stating that you’ve completed the language course. It will show the level you achieved at the end of your course, your attendance in class as a percentage point and your teachers’ notes.
