Shot recently by students from Hong Kong, it’ll show you just how much this class enjoyed their trip to Antibes.[youtube align="right" id="vbrZWQLWFGY"] First, the students attended French lessons in the mornings. These are very lively, interactive lessons, and the time flies by. The students were able to improve their pronunciation, speaking skills and overall level of French. Fun, huh? After class, everyone headed for the school’s restaurant for a well-earned lunch, carefully prepared by our chef. They then had a chance to discover the natural and cultural sights near Antibes. Learning French in France is an opportunity to visit some fantastic towns with our supervisors. The French Riviera offers dozens of sporting and cultural excursions. The Island School group was able to see the Cap d’Antibes up close, complete with its fabulous mansions and utterly charming beaches. On another day, they checked out the capital of the French Riviera: Nice. There’s nothing better than sampling a delicious ice-cream on one of the world’s most famous beaches. And there’s no shortage of interesting sights there, including Place Masséna and the Museum of Contemporary and Modern Art. The students also saw Monaco, took the train to Cannes and enjoyed the panoramic view from Eze. But wait – don’t forget Antibes! Place de Gaulle and the Nomade (a sculpture near the Port) are perfect places to capture on camera. To end their day, the students played a game of pétanque, a must when visiting the south of France. It was certainly a well spent day!
