Cooking lessons + tasting of "French specialties "
starter + main course + cheese + dessert + wine and coffee)
choosing the right cheese and bottles of wine according to the dish
Visit a beehive. Learn about this ancestral farming activity. It will not be a secret to you anymore. A couple of beekeepers will reveal their secrets. Some of them go back to the time when men used to live off fruit gathering, Others come from their " savoir-faire " that have maid local farmers are especially proud.

On Saturday morning, after going to the market with Jeannine, you will develop a typical French menu (starter + main course + cheese + dessert). Afterward, you will then sit down at the table to enjoy the meal with the wine of your choice. It will take about 6 hours to understand how the French prepare and enjoy their cooking (how they select the products from the market, how they make and balance their menus according to the seasons, how they choose their wine, cheese and Provencal dishes). This pleasant friendly moment will bring the week to an end. Your French language ability will be enhanced by this sophisticated learning experience at the same time.
This course is closely related to the cooking workshop " Jeannine's delicious jams" & " Jeannine's delicious pies " which take place on Wednesdays. For 4 hours, Jeannine will introduce you to several jams, their preparation with local fruit, and will actually teach you how to bake tartes Tatin, charlottes et clafoutis.
"Wine-appreciation workshop, the art of wine tasting".
The workshop is divided into two parts : learn how to identify and appreciate fine wines, and then learn how to set up and manage your own wine cellar. Seven wines will be studied. This course on wine appreciation is directly related to a wine tasting workshop in a famous vineyard in Provence
"Olive and olive oil" tasting in Provence.
A whole afternoon is devoted to our French olives, the symbol of our region. The French people from the south of France are proud of their olive that is regulated by AOC (Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée) olive. Olive oil tasting is an ancestral custom within the hinterland that is derived olive from crushing olive for its oil.
"Flower workshop, the art of decorating the table with Anne et Genevieve".
3 hours to get the « savoir-faire » from these two artists and to make your own flower and table arrangements using natural resources (plants, leaves, flowers, stones...). At the end, you will have a new perception of nature, its colours, fragrances and resources. Just open your eyes !
