SAILING IN HYÈRES :
A sailing program "easy sailing" (2 half days of sailing per week) is included in the package.
SUPPLEMENT : for 14 to 17 years old students, an intensive sailing program is available at a supplement of 100€/week. This additionnal program includes 5 half day of sailing .
Hyères, Provence program is offered during:

- Every Sunday during the set program dates.
- No class on national holidaoys: 15.08

- *15 min. break in the morning
- No classes on the first day: Introduction meeting and visit of the city in the morning. Written and oral tests at
1:30pm.
- No classes on public holidays the lessons are neither replaced nor refunded except for the individual classes.
- Classes might be alternately in the morning or in the afternoon.

ALL-INCLUSIVE CAMPUS
The campus is reserved for our students and it includes accommodation, classrooms, a restaurant, a mobile swimming pool, gardens and sport fields.
"La Navarre" campus
A huge campus located in the heart of a vineyard.

- Found in the middle of a vineyard, this superb 5000m² campus can accommodate 200 students and is only 12km from the sailing centre and sandy beaches.
- The campus offers a mobile swimming pool, a TV room, a cafeteria, a theatre for evening shows and several sports grounds.
ROOMS:
- All spacious and well equipped. Bathrooms and toilets are located on each floor*.
- 14-17 years old: Accommodated in rooms for 2 to 4 students.
- 12-13 years old: Accommodated in rooms for 2 to 4 students.
- 9-11 years old: Accommodated in rooms for 2 to 4 students.
MEALS AND COURSES:
- Courses are held on the premises.
- All meals are taken on-site with the exception of weekend's excursions days (packed lunch provided).
Note :
*A 50€ deposit will be required before occupying the shared room. This deposit may be paid in cash, Traveler’s Cheque or credit card and
will be fully refunded on the day of departure, minus any expenses incurred as a direct result of damages, missing items, costs of repairs
or any cleaning that may be necessary.

Sailing
ACTIVITIES AND SUPERVISION IN HYÈRES
Everyday after the lessons and meals, we offer a varied program of excursions and/or activities (except on the weekend of arrival/departure).
All are organized and supervised by our specialized tour leaders.
EACH WEEK:

Excursions:
- A day trip to the "Aix en Provence ", Marseille, or to a nautical theme park.
- One half-day excursion to "Toulon", "Bormes les Mimosas ", or "Adventure park".

Afternoon's activities:
- Our tour leaders organize various activities such as: Sport tournaments, games, themed activities, entertainment, French films...
- The shuttle service will also be available if students wish to go to the beach or to the city center.
Sailing: The course alternates between the morning and the afternoon:
-"Easy sailing": 2 sessions of 90 minutes.
-"Intensive sailing": 5 sessions of 90 minutes (not included ; supplement of 100€/week).
Sailing courses are with a FFV instructor (Fédération Française de Voile: French sailing federation).

Evening's activities :
- One barbecue evening
- One disco evening (on the premises)
- Entertainment evenings: our tour leaders organize games and fun activities such as cabaret, casino, games, Olympic games, shows...
KIOSK ACTIVITIES (to be booked and paid for on the spot):
In addition to our activity program, there is a choice of extra activities such as water-skiing, horse-riding, paragliding…
These activities are provided by carefully selected national instructors or adequately qualified external providers to ensure the greatest standards of safety.
We highly recommend that students are given parental authorization to go out.
From experience we know that students who are not allowed to go out will feel frustrated after arrival
and will ask to change the status of their parental permission.
We must receive parental authorization to go out prior to each student’s arrival

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

Arrivals are on Sundays and departures are on Saturdays. However, it is possible to reserve one extra day upon arrival and/or upon departure (at a supplement).

Arrival/departure transfers on Saturdays and Sundays are included from Nice/Côte d’Azur international airport 140km), from Toulon airport (22km) and from Toulon train station (25km).
Transfer from Monday to Friday is charged at 250€/trip/person. -
Please make sure we receive the compulsory arrival & departure, going out and health form prior to the student’s arrival. You may use your own form, as long as all mandatory information (see our form) is included.

At 140 km from Nice/Cote d’Azur international airport and at 22 km from Toulon airport and Toulon train station (free transfers included):
- Only 7 hours from New-York (direct flights to Nice)
- Less than 2 hours from the major European capitals (direct flights to Nice)
- Only 1:20 hours from Paris by plane to Hyères/Toulon airport, or 3:45 hours by high speed train (TGV) to Toulon train station.

WHAT TO WEAR
Students are advised to pack comfortable clothes including sport and swimming outfits.
Sun protection is necessary (hat and sunscreen).
A light jacket may be necessary for the evenings.
No special equipment is required for sailing.
