4 lessons x 45 minutes per week
Class size and timetable:
- Tuesday to Friday 12.15 to 1.00pm
- Between 2 and 8 students per class
- Booking on arrival only
This is basically a themed discussion course that the teacher supervises. Depending on recent cultural events and the group’s expectations, the topics will be chosen from a range of subjects such as:
- The history of the French language
- The press in France
- The Côte d'Azur
- The history of French Algeria
- Traditional festivals
- Cheese and wine
- Fashion
- French cuisine
- The Education System
- France and Europe
- Television - Radio
- And many more...
The discussion will be based on texts about discussed works and/or on audio-visual materials (extracts from films, documentaries, television or radio programmes, songs).
This is an example of the course and can be adapted to suit the students' expectations.
