May 17 2008: La Nuit des musées (Museum Night)
For the 4th time, La Nuit des Musées lets you discover the museums of Antibes in a different light: in the moonlight! After the standard hours of operation, the museums cloak themselves with lights and exceptional events based on the theme of music: Ancient instruments at the Museum of Archeology; Napoleonic marches and the power of drums at the Napoleon Museum; humorous songs at the Peynet Museum.

From the 17th to the 20th of May, 2008: Antibes Yacht Show
Antibes, the largest leisure port in France, welcomes hundreds of superb boats ranging in size from 30 to 120 meters. For three days, Antibes becomes the world capital of yachts, much to the delight of enthusiasts and those who are simply curious. Nearly 200 boats will share 1000 meters of pier and more than 15,000 square meters of exhibition space. For this second annual event, the organizers are hoping to achieve the same measure of success as last year: 8,500 visitors were present!

From the 25th of April until the 8th of May, 2008: International Bridge Tournament
The International Bridge Festival welcomes the best specialists of the game to Antibes. More than a thousand bridge players will be at Europe's largest bridge festival, one of the most important in the world.

May 17, 2008: Mode à Juan (Fashion in Juan)
The local stores, regional designers and the big names from the world of French fashion and beyond will come to Antibes to present their latest collections. New twist: the runways are no longer reserved for the privileged but are coming down into the streets. Meet in the Pinède, the length of La Rue Leonetti à Juan-les-Pins.
The 17th and 18th of May, 2008: Rendez-vous de sculpteurs de sable (Sand sculptors' gathering)
A symbol of summer and art, the sand sculptors will flock to the beaches of Juan-les-Pins. A definite do-not-miss under any circumstances!
