12 WEEKS


	Basic communication skill development Debate using formal language Present a summary about a news item Speak in front of an audience for 15-20 minutes Role play (with camcorder) Professional interview Negotiate and debate in a business debate Use language plays on words and humour	Grammar work Acquired grammar points + Double pronouns Compound relatives Slang morphology Consolidation indirect speech Written expression Formal correspondence in a specific area Specialist vocabulary for writing business documents Write a story or diary
24 WEEKS


	Basic communication skill development Suggest pertinent points in a varied range of subjects Use periphrases Manage a difficult situation and defend opinion Role play (with camcorder) Take an active role in a negotiation Take part in a group meeting and run the debate Discuss daily and professional topics with ease Vary speech and register depending on the situation	Grammar work Acquired grammar points + At this stage grammar points are used for written and oral work and especially to further develop skills Subjunctive Simple past and its use (if necessary as it is barely used nowadays) Further work on hypotheses and time agreement Written expression Translate all types of document from mother tongue to French Write formal letters with ease Write a summary with a clear plan
